With more than 400 brands focused on health and wellbeing, no company touches so many people’s lives in so many different ways.

Unilever's portfolio ranges from nutritionally balanced foods to indulgent ice creams, affordable soaps, luxurious shampoos and everyday household care products. They produce world-leading brands including Lipton, Knorr, Dove, Axe, Hellmann’s and Omo, alongside trusted local names such as Blue Band, Pureit and Suave.

Article 10 have been asked to automate a system for producing legal evaluations of the claims made on the various Unilever brands. The legal evaluation department were using an online web-based system, but the team was far more used to using Microsoft Word and so requested a Word based solution.

The solution involves embedding data directly inside a word document, creating a small portable database travelling within each document. Documents are organised within SharePoint. This means that the team, distributed internationally, can open a document, work on it's data and reupload ready for others to add their evaluations.
