Partnerships - Lyndon Nicholson and Dale Smith

1 Feb 2008

The inspiration to start Article 10 was to break free of office politics and slow decision making and set up our own presentation service company, says Lyndon Nicholson and Dale Smith, the co-founders of Article 10, when they were interviewed by Director Magazine.

Director is a magazine which reaches and targets individual company directors across a number of industries. The magazine chose Article 10 to comment on how their company first started out and developed into the UK's leading presentations organisation. "We worked hard for six months, doing our day jobs...then coming home and doing the whole thing over again" Nicholson explains when talking about the beginning of Article 10, and states "I would never go back to working for someone else".

Nicholson and Smith started the company as a full service agency, carrying out a range of projects from CD-roms, e-marketing, presentations, video, animation, DVD and online. However, they then decided to become specialists in high impact presentations and video as they were the areas they believed added most value to their clients.

Dale Smith continues to explain within the article about the challenges they faced as a start-up and why him and Nicholson make such a good partnership.
